Quality Control, REST Services & Interior Design Coordination
MDM Architects were appointed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) of the Canadian High Commission in Dhaka to provide quality control and REST (Representational State Transfer) services for the Canadian High Commission Recreation Centre, commencing in March 2006.
MDM’s responsibilities included preparing a schedule of work for completion, inspecting existing contract documents and on-site construction, and making recommendations to the departmental representative regarding additions or deletions from the completion requirements list. MDM also supervised the implementation of the agreed schedule, prepared additional documentation for clarification purposes, engaged testing agencies as required, and delivered test results and recommendations to the client.
In addition, MDM held a term commission with Her Majesty’s Government, represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Canada, for interior design coordination services for the Canadian High Commission in Dhaka, running until 31 March 2008.
