Located on 60 feet wide K. C. Dey Road in a fast growing prime commercial area near New Market and Shahid Minar within a serene neighborhood of the Chittagong City “J.K. Tower” was judiciously planned and designed with an elegant view. Bay of Bengal can be seen from the top floor apartment of this building.
Design was done by conforming all the requirements of the commercial space and residential complex offering complete privacy and incorporating modern conveniences and amenities.
Keeping in mind the safety of the building, the tower has been designed with an earthquake resistant reinforced concrete frame coupled with reinforced concrete shear walls. The semi basement level will accommodate the car park, café, security control room and pump room.
A shopping complex was designed from Level 1 to Level 4 of the tower. Basement is used as car parking area for shopping complex. Drainage and waste disposal, fire and safety emergency exit were designed to International Standards.
Level 5 is used as car parking area for the residential apartments. A dedicated car lift was installed to facilitate this. From level 6 to level 15, a total of 49 apartments of various floor space has been designed.
Building frame is made of RCC beam-column type. Exterior facade of the residential part is designed with plastered groove. The shopping complex has a rectangular glass facade decorated with aluminum panels and louvers.
The building was complete in 2013.
