Chuadanga born Ali Shamsur Rahman obtained B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering Technology in 2003. He is experienced in design, construction, execution and management of various Civil Engineering jobs in Bangladesh.

He joined Mukta Dinwiddie MacLaren Architects in 2009 as Structural Engineer. His Duties/Responsibilities are:

• Responsible for developing designs for all projects including USACE projects.
• Works as communicator between project team and client and prepared technical specifications.
• Make sure about the quality of design documentation throughout design process.
• Also checked design calculation did by other designers and engineers.
• Assigned work into members to make sure about delivery to design time quality and budget.
• For construction work and site work, responsible for acting as site and project supervisor.
• Prepared contract reviews, documents and BOQ for construction projects.
• Responsible for other duties as needed.

Before joining MDM he worked in the following companies:

• From 2006 to 2009 in  Atlanta Housing Ltd as Project Manager
• from 2005 to 2006 in M/s Mozaher Enterprise as Deputy Project Manager
• From 2004 to 2005 in BEL construction SDN BHD as Project Engineer
• From 2003 to 2004 in Engineers of Buildings Ltd. as Structural Engineer
