HSBC Bangladesh

MDM’s successful long-term relationship with HSBC has grown out of our understanding of their global standing and ethos and our client-focused approach to pricing, scheduling and construction.

Head Office, Dhaka

In 1999, MDM’s first project for HSBC was to design the interior of the second, fourth and fifth floors of their head office.

Gulshan branch

MDM transformed a residential building into a banking hall, providing architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical consultancy services, project management and construction supervision. This challenging project involved the removal of two load-bearing structural columns and the introduction of structural beams to transform the area into a column-free banking hall.

The Chief Executive‘s residential property

MDM provided full project management and construction supervision for the renovation and interior design of the Chief Executive’s private residence.

The entire house was gutted and redesigned to the highest standards. The roof was transformed into a multifunctional terrace; extensive outside space was landscaped; and bespoke furniture was created for the property.

Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) booths

Briefed for the construction of nine ATM booths across Dhaka and Chittagong, MDM provided architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical designs; liaised with the statutory authorities on the client’s behalf; and provided full project-management services.

Motijheel branch

The project involved transforming a five-storey building into a high-quality banking premises, following HSBC property guideline and corporate health-and-safety standards.
